20-22nd MARCH 2020

Dear Sisters,

After closely monitoring updates from the Department of Health, Department of Education, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) Smart Traveller and the World Health Organisation, and consulting with The Tops Conference Centre, we have decided to postpone Sisterhood Conference 2020.  A future date for the conference will be announced as soon as possible.

We have spent the past day working with the conference venue and they have agreed to transfer our booking until March 2022. However, we remain financially committed to them.

The Sisterhood Conference is a medium-scale, live-in event that draws women from across the country.  The COVID-19 outbreak is a rapidly evolving situation and we have a significant number of women who fall into the at-risk category. Out of caution and care for the Sisterhood family, and to limit the risk among our families and communities, postponing the event is the right thing to do. Your health and wellbeing are paramount and we need to be good public stewards by following the ever-developing guidance and regulations of authorities trying their best to manage this crisis.

This difficult decision was not made lightly.  We are aware that many people will be disappointed that the conference will not take place this weekend. In light of this we will be sending a series of video talks to you over the weekend.

Your registration will be automatically transferred to the rescheduled Sisterhood Conference.

Again, thank you for your patience and grace as we navigate this unprecedented situation.

God bless,

The Sisterhood Team

Welcome to Sisterhood

-A movement of Catholic women of all ages and all walks of life...doing life together-

Welcome to Sisterhood.....

Sisterhood is a National Catholic Women's movement that seeks to support women from all walks and stages of life.

The Sisterhood movement emerged from a small group of Catholic women seeking more from their relationships with one another, their family and husbands and the Lord. It was not long before a number of other women expressed interest in joining these groups and now there are Sisterhood groups operating across Australia.

The vision of Sisterhood is to see women supported in their Catholic faith and walk with the Lord. It also recognises and encourages the valuable gift of female friendships, meaningful connection and community.

Sisterhood seeks to support women through small groups, regional events and retreats, connect mornings and the national conference. To find out more click on the links above.
